Weddings and Baptisms
Marriage
We offer marriage to both same-sex and opposite-sex marriage. Prospective couples would be expected to attend four free marriage preparation sessions. The fee for the wedding is approximately £500.
Celebrating a Birth
We offer two options which are both available on the 2nd Sunday of any month in our all-age service at 11 am.
Baptism with water
We understand Baptism as a once in a lifetime ceremony, where people commit to becoming a Christian. We also understand that the person being baptised is making a commitment to an ongoing relationship with our congregation.
Blessing with oil
We also understand that people may wish to have a naming and blessing ceremony that is not a commitment to us. We offer a similar ceremony to baptism where the person is named and blessed with oil.
