Spiritual Life of the Church
Sunday worship, where we come together to praise and give thanks to God for all he has done for us, is at the centre of the spiritual life of Wylde Green United Reformed Church. Being a Christian, however, is not just for Sundays. In addition, we have a number of activities throughout the week to support and strengthen us in living a compassionate, Christian life.
There are regular house groups running on week
day evenings. Please contact the church secretaries
for details. We also run Lent and Advent Bible study
groups. Everyone is welcome.
Thursday evening prayers - held monthly
The prayer group meets on the last Thursday of
every month from 7.30pm to 8.15pm in the church
vestibule. The group prays for the needs of our
congregation, the local community, and those names
written in the prayer request book (kept in the
vestibule) and from the prayer request post boxes
(located near to the church halls).
Everyone is welcome.
If you would like any prayers to be included in the
prayer request book, or would like someone to pray
with you individually, please contact the church
Thoughts for the week
Each week a different member of the congregation
offers their thoughts on a set of Bible readings.
These can be accessed from the home page.
